Jean Vanier, the Sacrament of Tenderness
finally available on DVD and VOD!
23 octobre 2019
You were waiting for it, here it is! The film Jean Vanier, the Sacrament of Tenderness is finally available on DVD and in video on demand, after an exceptional movie presence with 7 months in movie theaters in France, Belgium and Luxembourg, and a total so far of some 53,000 viewers. This is a record. And it is well-deserved, because this film, which highlights Jean Vanier’s compassion and his fight for a more inclusive and more humane society, shows how this great man, literally and figuratively, challenged taboos and got personally involved to enable people with intellectual disabilities to live with dignity. Until his last breath, Jean remained convinced of the need to convey his message of peace and love to as many people as possible. And when Frédérique Bedos showed that she would be faithful to his message, he then entrusted her with the task of making his voice resonate for a long time.
