Pourquoi pas moi? – Frédérique Bedos: From Vulnerability to Boldness
Paris, July 2, 2026
“Frédérique Bedos does not downplay the challenges. She does not say that everything will magically work out.
Rather, she says: we must take action. Together. Now. With greater humanity.”
Charlotte Desrosiers – Podcast – Pourquoi pas moi?
What a wonderful way to kick things off by announcing that Frédérique Bedos will be appearing on Charlotte Desrosiers’ podcast – *Pourquoi pas moi* – which places the wisdom of the heart at the heart of its editorial vision.
*Pourquoi pas moi* is a podcast about inspiring journeys that encourage listeners to heed their inner voice. Failing to do so can lead to burnout, as Charlotte Desrosiers herself attests, having suffered from it before turning her life around… Since then, she has been interviewing people who have managed to listen to themselves, pick themselves up and break free… To avoid being worn down from within by the sometimes contradictory societal pressures that take their toll on so many people: according to the French Institute for Public Health Surveillance, 480,000 French employees are suffering from mental distress at work, including 30,000 people experiencing burnout (7%)*. These figures call our practices into question, particularly in the workplace.
« Par peur de perdre l’illusion de supériorité, le « candidat au burn out »
choisit d’épuiser ses réserves émotionnelles »
Peter Bügel – Psychologue
In this episode, Frédérique Bedos, who has experienced both extreme precariousness and the glamour of television studios, reflects on the journeys that have shaped her thinking, particularly on ‘the fear that dehumanises’ and on the importance of taking risks, she who had the courage to leave everything behind to set up an NGO with the aim of launching a movement of civic engagement in favour of a fairer, more inclusive society
